I hope everyone stayed safe this tumultuous weekend - whether it was physically, mentally or emotionally. Apologies for not posting - I spent much of this weekend watching the live news streams of the protests/riots in the USA & wasn't sure if it would be appropriate to post sexy content today.
I don't expect these protests to end anytime soon - at what stage do we call the riots a rebellion? What's happening now is of historical significance, & was inevitable. If it wasn't George Floyd who caused the spark, it would have been another victim. Combined with the stresses of the pandemic, & the environment was ripe for overdue action.
Riots are a symptom of a broken society, & too many people are hurting. This is a movement for change, police accountability & to address the longstanding systematic racism prevalent in the culture; significant socio-political changes tend to take time, especially when those in power are resistant to them. And let's face it, US leadership is throwing more fuel on the fire.
As a result, whilst I support the protesters & the Black Lives Matter movement, I will resume posting content during this time. Normalcy during a period of social upheaval can be calming, & we can all use a distraction from the pain and chaos of the world. For the Americans on here, my heart goes out to you and I sincerely hope you and your loved ones are safe. If you need to talk to someone, or to vent, my DMs are always open to you.
