He wanted to take a picture of the design of the string that was inside the hood of my sun shirt because he had never seen it before and was interested in incorporating it into his own designs since he had his own long distance hiking gear company and was hiking to try out all of the latest gear he had designed to see how it actually held up in the field. And coincidently, he captured me in a genuine moment of pure joy that happens to be about what the vibe was like during that whole portion of the hiking trip.
