Good morning! I had to take off my surgical bra and put on a different bra before going to sleep. The surgical bra is extremely tight, but especially through the shoulder and underarm area. It rubs and hurts like crazy. The last pic shows just a little of the redness leftover (it's been red all up and down where the material rubs against my skin, and honestly, during the night, I decided it had to come off). I'll put it back on today, because it is a compression bra, and I know that's important. This one offers medium compression. However, I did get the go ahead for new full support bras. I have new front zip full support bras coming in. Not 100% sure on the size I'll need. But if my measurements are correct, I'm be a 36B. I hope they come in today.

I just took a shower after doing a bit of house work that needed to be done. Don't worry. I'm going to rest now. But here's a little shot of my bush. I smell soooooo good! I'll be keeping the bush till about April or May probably. Then I'll go bare for summer and then back to strip and then full bush for winter again. People have different preferences, and I'm kind of fond of them all. It's kind of fun to switch it up. I just started switching it up a bit after I started my OF. Previously, I wore a patch/landing strip for years. So, iwhatever your preference, it'll come around, unless it's completely unkempt bush, which I won't do.

I'm going to rest now. See y'all a little later. I may try on dresses after I rest. Love and hugs!🥰🥰

A few late night selfies with the kitchen light acting as a filter... My appointment went well today. They took my drains out, and then i came home and showered! It felt so good to wash my hair; i washed it 4 times.😂 My boobs are a little sore. I'm supposed to continue taking it easy, so I'm pretty much doing nothing but watching movies. There are of course other things, but my hubs is doing all the work around here. And we kind of became empty nesters on Monday when one of our sons moved out. He got a new job and moved to Colorado Springs. Our other son who lives wth us is only here 3 to 4 days every 3 weeks or so, or more if he's between work projects.... So we're calling ourselves empty nesters.😁😂 It feels a little strange knowing we have the house all to ourselves. I'll soon have a studio for my OF. I'll try not to bore y'all with the same ol' stuff day in and day out.😁 I'm very excited to have my own space. Anyway, it's late, and I'm gonna hit the hay. I'll pop in here tomorrow with some new photos! So don't go anywhere! See ya soon!🥰🥰

I'm on my way to Denver to get my drains out. I'm so happy that this day is here so I can get rid of the inconvenience. I have my heating pad that is plugged into my nifty battery that my hubs got me for Christmas a couple years ago, and the towel is for extra seat belt padding. I've had to wear the heating pad 24/7 to keep the bl00d flowing to my chest area for healing.

I may be exhausted this evening when I get home. But if I'm not too tired, I'll say hi!

Just an update, and a little summary if you don't want to watch me ramble. I get my drains out tomorrow. My back feels like nothing was ever wrong with it. I talk a little about Breast Implant Illness and the fact that my body probably hasn't been too happy with the ruptured implant and inflammation around it. Symptoms that i had (joint and muscle aches, brain fog, memory loss) could be due to aging and hormones, as well. So who knows? But many women claim Illness with their implants. And last but not least, my boobs are going to look great, I'm quite certain! They're puckered, puffy, and a little weird looking, but they've also relaxed and smoothed out a little just over this past week. I'm excited for the final results!

I'm feeling great. Currently, I'm using very little pain medication. Itching has decreased significantly without the use of antihistamines. I'm waiting to hear from the surgeon's office to find out when I can get these drains out (I hope they come out this week).

I'm tired of sitting in one place. I have to use a heating pad on my chest 24/7. No showers, only sponge baths for now.

One thing I've noticed that has me very happy is my lower back issues have disappeared. I figured that sitting around 24/7 would cause stiffness, but I'm not stiff at all. There is something called Breast Implant Illness (BII) that many women claim is a real disease that comes with breast implants. They claim a wide range of symptoms disappear after they have their implants removed. I've personally experienced some of the symptoms, but they're also symptoms that could be related to perimenopause. Therefore, I've been hesitant to claim they're related to breast implants. A couple of my symptoms have been memory loss/brain fog and sore/stiff joints and muscles. My back muscles have become chronically stiff and sore over the past couple of years; for them to simply disappear surprises me. It remains to be seen how they do after I'm up and moving around more. My brain fog may still be there. It's hard to tell because I've been drugged up. I've had coffee this morning and feel a little jittery, so we'll see how I feel with no drugs or caffeine. I also am surprised that I have no stiff or sore joints. My shoulders and hips were making me feel like I'm getting old.

I will keep you updated. I am just sitting around, so who knows what will happen once I'm up and working out again.

Just wanted to say hi and give a little update. I tried posting this morning, but I couldn't even look at my phone without feeling nauseated. Last night was rough because I was itching like crazy and feeling sick to my stomach. I took nausea medication which took the edge off, but I was still quite miserable. I've felt pretty good today. No nausea, and the itching is under control because I've been taking Benadryl. I slept most of the day, and I feel like I'll probably sleep tonight. Thanks so much for your love, patience, and support. I'll give another update tomorrow. Hugs and kisses!!🥰😘

I feel really good. Pain is practically non-existent. I'm staying on top of it with pain medication, though, to keep it from becoming painful. The drugs are making me sleepy. I'll probably nap a lot today.

The implant shown is in good condition. The other one was ruptured, which likely was the cause of the capsular contracture.

I do have a picture from my post-op appointment if anyone wants see it. I can send it in DMs.

I'm going back to sleep in just a bit, like maybe 1 or 2 minutes because my eyes are ready to shut.

I'll check in later to respond to messages, etc.😘

Currently with Hibiclens on my skin. I have to wet my skin, put the soap on, and then wait 15 minutes before rinsing it off. My skin is drying out from over washing it, and this cleanser is also drying. Not a good combination... I'm not washing my hair tonight and I'll use oil to clean my face... Tuesday I'll be getting my implants out, along with a capsulectomy and a breast lift. Some of you are new here, so I try to mention this often.

Sitting here without panties.. I can't believe my surgery is day after tomorrow. I'll be staying 2 nights in Denver. My husband will be taking care of me. We'll drive up tomorrow, stay the night in a hotel. Then surgery is Tuesday afternoon, then we'll be in the hotel again. My next day follow-up is Wednesday morning, after which we'll come home. Wish me luck, say a prayer, send good vibes. I'll take all of them. Thank you!🥰🙏
