Orchidaceae, commonly known as the orchid family, is a well known, large diverse family of flowering plants. 💜💟 Most orchids require water only once a week, overwatering the plant can cause to rotting in the soil! These babies can take anywhere from 9 to 14 months for an orchid to complete a life cycle! My favorites are orchids with spots like these! 😍

Limonium is a slender flower with tiny blooms on each stem. 💗A great filler option that looks delicate however limonium has a paper-like texture, meaning these flowers last forever. These work great with dried/preserved elements, any white color palette, or for winter weddings to evoke misty snow 🤍

These are Lisianthus but I like to call them Lizzie’s 😋🎀💗 Lisianthus is a very common flower and native to warm regions of the southern United States, Mexico, Caribbean and northern South America. I use it in most of my arrangements because it’s the most perfecttttttt filler flower. ☺️ Lisianthus comes in so many different colour variations. 🎨

Old man banksias are found along eastern Australia and the Bass Strait. Also known as saw banksia, due to their serrated-edge leaf, old man banksias produce large yellow-green banksias which are made up of numerous tiny individual flowers that often appear hairy due to the retention of old withered flower parts. although they do grow fresh, these have been dried 🥰

this is very cute and vibrant shrub behind me is called Impatien! 🥰 The long-lasting blooms of impatiens are a riot of color. The flowers generally range from vibrant purple, red, and orange. Some of the flowers are used for hair coloring and dyes. Its genus name, Impatiens, comes from the word "impatiens" or "impatient" in Latin because the seed pods are often in a rush to open up!

Seriously so obsessed with these Calla Lillies 😍😍 They are exquisite in every way!!! Calla lilies have stood the test of time both in the garden and floral industry. Often seen in wedding bouquets and other fresh floral arrangements, the sturdy stems, vibrant blooms, and elegant nature of the calla lilies make these plants truly timeless ⏰ When I started working with flowers about 4 years ago purple was my least favorite color to work with… now I can’t get enough of it 🤷♀️💜💟

There’s a lot of work that goes behind being a florist other than designing… 🤔🫣 and one of them is organizing vases and pots! I like to organize my vases and pots by color and size it helps me quickly grab what I need when I’m busy or working on an unexpected last minute order ☺️💐
