Medium creators takes things more seriously, but they are fairly expensive and you never know who is real, and who is not. Most these days use agencies, cheat and lie as much as agencies (if they are not agencies). They are taught to say "yes" to every request and question, even if it's not true.
Big creators are just not in OnlyFans anymore. Not a single known porn actor/actress handles their socials, which is understandable but... Sad, I guess!

I'm not officially mentoring anyone, apart from (sometimes), Chris. But I take pity on some girls on certain "OnlyFans support" subreddits, and I give some advice here and there. I came to know a girl, who ended up on one of the ""support"" channels.
On that support channel, the advice offered was terrible, and this poor woman was confused. It became obvious the creator of the channel was a fake creator, an agency hiding behind a real woman's face (probably a client), who wanted to catch the dumbest among the dumbest.
This woman was kind and caring, but also desperate and far from the brightest. The fell directly into the agencies lies, and ended up giving them all her content, and the management of her page.
After 3 months, they have earned $300 (100 for the woman, 200 for the agency), and then they... Disappeared.
Naturally, soon enough a new page appeared under the woman's name - 100% managed by an agency. All her content stolen, and used against her will.
Yes, eventually the content was taken off OnlyFans, but it's now everywhere, and she doesn't see a dime.

Unpopular opinion: Many girls do create an OnlyFans out of pure desperation for money and a better life. Many girls hate interacting with horny people. Hate their bodies, and what they have to do to "earn" money.
I'm in several support groups for creators - I started as the "supported", and now I'm on the "supportive" side.
I've seen such terrible strategies for chasing the most desperate girls.... You wouldn't even believe it.
But, yes, there are many girls that do not want to have an OnlyFans, and what it implies, and are more than happy to believe agencies lies.

I've come to realise that scammers and agencies use scripts for locating free accounts, and then spam them. Probably they also are behind many (if not all) of the death threats and shit I've been dealing with - to wear me down, and convince me of "hiring" their chatting services.
Since I put back the $4.99 subscription (minimum I can go), even with the free trial link everywhere, everything's much better. I've learned my lesson.

For example many creators use the "free account" for selling, and "VIP account" for sharing. I think it won't be exactly like that in my case, but it's a good approach.

Publishing in reddit is terribly complex for OnlyFans creators. We're basically hated everywhere. Still, I love reddit and I do my best to keep up the quality - while, naturally, offering "the best stuff" in here hahahaha.
